INTRODUCING:

Maeve Rogers’s debut wolverine children’s book invites readers into the hidden world of one of North America’s most elusive species.
Follow Timber, a young wolverine, as he wanders through wild country in search of a friend who feels like home. Along the way, kids discover the beauty, grit, and mystery of a misunderstood animal - ideal for wildlife books for children and curious readers ages 4–8.
Inspired by my work studying wild carnivores, The Lonely Wolverine blends science, art, and story into a conservation book for kids - a gentle classroom read-aloud picture book that sparks questions, empathy, and care for the natural world.
Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or nature enthusiast, I hope Timber’s journey brings a little wild wonder to your day - and reminds us that even solitary paths can lead to friendship.
